What We Believe

We believe:

In one God, manifest in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:16-17; Matt. 28: 19)
    1. The Father – the one true and living God, and infinite and intelligent spirit, worthy of all possible honor, confidence, love, and glory. (Ex. 20:2-3; John 4:24)
     2. The Son – that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit in a miraculous manner; born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can be born of a woman, and that He is both the Son of God and God the Son.(Gen. 3:15; Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-26; Luke 1:35; John 1:14; John 1:1)
     3. The Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son and of the same nature (Gen. 1:26); that He was active in the creation (Gen. 1:1-3); that in relation to the unbelieving world, He restrains the evil one until God’s purpose is fulfilled (II Thess. 2:7); that He convicts of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and in testimony (John 16:7-15); that He is the agent in the new birth (John 3:5); that He seals (Eph. 1:13-15), guides and teaches (John 14:26-27) comforts (John 14:16-17), bears witness (Rom. 8:16), and sanctifies (I Peter 1:2).

That the Holy Scriptures are divinely inspired and the product of Spirit controlled men, and therefore, have truth without a mixture of error for its matter (II Tim. 3:16-17); that it is the revealed will of God and is the only rule of faith and practice for the Christian (II Peter 1:19-21).

In atonement for sin through Jesus Christ (I John 1:7; Heb. 10:12) who as a part of the Godhead became a man. (Phil. 2:6-8), born of the virgin Mary (Isa. 7:14); was perfect In all respects and honored the Devine Law by His personal obedience (Phil. 2:6-8), and by His death as a martyr, but was the voluntary substitution of Himself in the sinner’s place (John. 10:18); the just dying for the unjust on the cross (I Peter 2:24) and having risen from the dead is sitting on the right hand of the God (Heb. 10:12) making intercession for us (Heb. 7:25)

In the pre-tribulation, pre-millennial, second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That He will come first for His church, then with it to judge and rule.

That the New Testament Church is a body of baptized believers, organized, independent and self-governing; whose purpose is to carry out the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:19-20)

That Satan is the open and declared enemy of God and man. That he was created a sinless being. He fell through pride and insubordination. He is the author of all evil.

In Heaven and endless bliss for the born-again believer and in the conscious and endless punishment of the wicked.

We fully believe and firmly maintain that every one of the blood-purchased flock of God has eternal life; shall never perish; is saved once and forever; is a child of God now and forever and is completely delivered from judgment now as Christ Himself. (John 5:24; John 10:28-29; John 3:16; Rom. 8:35-39)

There are only three gifts left. These being hope, faith, and charity. (I Cor. 13:13)

There are two ordinances for the church: the Lord’s Supper which is to be taken by members of the local body only (I Cor. 11:20-34) and baptism by complete immersion (Mark 1:9-11; Matt. 3:13-17).
